This will be the second largest bank in the country after State Bank of India. Their business size will be 17 lakh 95 thousand crore. They have 11437 branches in the whole country.

 In addition, Canara Bank and Syndicate Bank will be incorporated. The cumulative business of these two banks is 15 lakh 20 thousand crore rupees. As a result, the new bank will be the fourth largest state-owned bank in the country.

 Union Bank, Blind Bank and Corporation Bank will be merged with it. They will be the fifth largest state-owned bank.

 Allahabad Bank and Indian Bank will be mixed up. The total business volume of the duo is 8 lakh 8 thousand crore. They will be the seventh largest state-owned bank in the country. Prior to that, there were 27 state-owned banks in the whole country. Already, the merger of State Bank and Baroda Bank has been made. There will now be a total of 12 state banks in the country following the new decision.
