1. 'International Cat Day' is celebrated on the 8th August of 2019.
2. National Handloom Day is observed on 7th August every year. It was celebrated on this day from 2015 onwards to the day it was inaugurated by Narendra Modi.
3. The Rajya Sabha has passed the Consumer Protection Bill 2019.
